The Zoning Commission will be reviewing the survey responses to determine if any changes need to be made to  the Comprehensive Development Plan. ​ The Zoning Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month at 8:00 P.M., and the public is encouraged to attend and participate in these discussions!

The Zoning Commission will also be reviewing all of the comments and ideas as they consider making updates to the Plan.  In the meantime, here is some additional information about some of the questions and concerns that were submitted.  

CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO REDUCE SPEED LIMITS IN THE TOWNSHIP?
Ohio state law sets the speed limits on all country and township roads at 55 miles per hour unless a reduced speed limit has been established.  Some locations may qualify for reduced speed limits, but this requires extensive traffic studies and approval by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO CHANGE TRUCK ROUTES OR PENALIZE TRUCKERS THAT TAKE TOWNSHIP ROADS TO BYPASS THE WEIGH STATION?
The Guilford Township Trustees have actively worked with local law enforcement to improve signage and enforcement of trucks that exit the highway and get back on after the weigh station without making any stops.
